Highway is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around Veera Tripathi (Alia Bhatt), daughter of a rich Delhi-based business tycoon, Manik Tripathi. Veera is abducted by a local gangster named Mahabir (Randeep Hooda) and his men a day prior to her wedding. Mahabir learns that Veera’s father has good political connections, thus he moves Veera through different cities on a truck to avoid being tracked by the police. This kidnapping actually has a great impact on Veera and Mahabir, and the journey helps them to find a new meaning in their lives.
