His Story of Itihaas is a social drama based on a true story about what has been taught for years in our history school books. The story revolves around Namit (Subodh Bhave), a Physics teacher in a school who was taught all about Mughals and how they fought for India’s independence while growing up and not a word about India’s true civilisation, history and identity. Namit decides to stand up to question the wrong/distorted history told to us for generations in our school textbooks. Does he succeed in offering a fresh lens on themes of identity, truth, and the rewriting of Indian history, forms the remaining part of the plot.
