Home Delivery is a comedy-drama. The movie revolves around Sunny Chopra (Vivek Oberoi), a 28-year-old writer, who writes for the Times of Hindustan newspaper. He has recently got a screenplay writing project for a happening film director, Karan Johar. He has to now meet the screenplay deadline, by avoiding distractions like his annoying neighbours and constant calls of his editor. He also has a date with a South Indian superstar, Maya (Mahima Chaudhry), but he must get his fiancée Jenny (Ayesha Takia) out of the way to ensure a perfect date. However, this single day changes his outlook on life forever, when a middle-aged pizza delivery boy Michael (Boman Irani) comes to his doorway to deliver the pizza, instead he also gives him an important life lesson.
