Hamare Baarah is a social drama that tells the story of Manzoor Ali Khan Sanjari (Anu Kapoor), who, despite losing his first wife
during childbirth, continues to have more children with his second wife. His second wife is now pregnant with her sixth child
despite doctors warning of the pregnancy risks to her life. Manzoor Ali Khan refuses an abortion quoting that it’s an act against
almighty Allah’s wishes. His daughter Alfiya is determined to save her stepmother’s life and decides to take her father to court
to demand the abortion and questions the entrenched patriarchy in their society. Will Alfiya get justice and be able to save her
stepmothers life?
