Inquilaab is a political action thriller drama. The movie revolves around a young man named Amar Nath (Amitabh Bachchan), who makes his living by selling snacks on the street. He is taken under the wing of an evil politician, who helps him to become a police officer. Now, ACP Amar Nath is loyal to the politician, who uses him for his purpose and gets all the work done by him. Later, Amar gets married to Asha (Sridevi), who realises that her husband is being used merely as a pawn and decides to make things right for him. Will Asha succeed in making things right for her husband and herself or is it too late?
