Kashi Tiwari (Raghubir Yadav) is a 40-year-old, unmarried Hindu bachelor who happens to meet a Christian girl named Jacqueline in a church and decides to marry her. Despite objections caused by their inter-religious marriage, they both get along well but Kashi soon realizes that Jacqueline is suffering from a mental illness for which she is admitted to an asylum. Kashi regularly meets her but is unable to see her in that state. Kashi tries to take her back home but is refused by the asylum authorities that is when he plots a way to get her out.
