Jai Mummy Di is a rom-com about two middle-aged women - Laali and Pinky (Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon) who used to be the best of friends during their childhood but are now sworn enemies and unfortunately neighbours. Laali’s young son Puneet (Sunny Singh) and Pinky’s daughter Saanjh (Sonnalli Seygall) love each other but don’t have the courage to express the same to their respective mothers. To be better than the other, Pinky and Laali try to get their kids married into high-profile families but Puneet and Saanjh have a different idea as they decide to pull off an impossible con with the blessings of their crazy mothers.
