Jalsa is a suspense thriller based on a hit and run case of a middle-class 18-year-old girl whose death becomes the center of attraction leading to a sabotage and many suspects that sets up the motion for many hands getting involved from a journalist to a raging mother, a cop and a system that is caught in an ethical dilemma. The girl’s death gives rise to many questions whether or not it was a planned or accidental one leading only to realize that the truth is rarely pure and never simple.
