Jugnuma is set in the Uttarakhand hills of 1989 where Dev (Manoj Bajpayee), the owner of one of the biggest apple orchards left to him by his grandfather, lives with his family, including his wife Nandini (Priyanka Bose), young son Juju (Awan Pookot), teenage daughter Vanya (Hiral Sidhu) and two inseparable Alsatians. Managing his apple orchard is Dev’s long-time estate manager Mohan (Deepak Dobriyal) who one day gets to see a grappling incident of the mysterious burning of a tree on one of his patches. The burning of his orchard trees one by one leaves Dev and his manager Mohan puzzled with different stories coming from his workers and village locals. Who is behind all this, and why is this happening leaves Dev to understand the mystery behind it.
