Just Married: Marriage Was Only The Beginning is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around Abhay Sachdeva (Fardeen Khan) and Ritika Khanna (Esha Deol), the young, independent and modern citizens. The two hate the concept of arranged marriage, however, they are forced to enter into one. The newlywed couple then embark on a honeymoon trip to Ooty. On the trip they meet several other couples of different age groups. Inspired by the love stories of different couples, they try to overcome the awkwardness and make their relationship work.
