Set in the city of Benaras, Kaashi: In Search of Ganga is an intense action drama which revolves around Kaashi, a man who belongs to a community who perform cremation rituals and is in search of his college-going sister (Ganga) who goes missing. Despite lodging an FIR with the police Kaashi fails to get any clue about his sister. With the help of a female journalist (played by Aishwarya Dewan), he gets a few vital clues which are turned down in the court of law. How Kaashi tracks his missing sister’s culprits forms the remaining part of the plot.
