Kaushaljis vs Kaushal is a hilarious yet thought-provoking family entertainer that follows the story of 27-year-old Yug Kaushal (Pavail Gulati), who moves to Noida to join an advertising agency. Yug's father Sahil (Ashutosh Rana) and his mother Sangita (Sheeba Chaddha) reside in Kannauj where the former works in a scent factory while Sangita likes to make perfumes as a hobby. Sahil and Sangita often fight over petty issues blaming each other for their situation. Yug returns home for Holi and sees his parents fighting and in a fit of anger suggests to seek a divorce. Back in Noida, Yug meets Kiara (Isha Talwar) and falls in love with her. Kiara wishes to marry a man who stays with his parents as she comes from a broken family. One day, Yug goes to Kannauj and learns that his parents took his suggestion seriously and are headed for a divorce. On the other hand, Kiara lands up at Kannauj to meet Yug's parents. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
