Khatta Meetha is a political satire drama that revolves around Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar), an ambitious contractor who wants to do big things and make a name for himself. However, he faces opposition at his home and workplace all the time. His brothers-in-law, Trigun Fatak (Manoj Joshi) and Suhas Vichare (Milind Gunaji) and his brother Harish Tichkule (Paritosh Sand) are responsible for the bridge collapse resulting in fatalities, however, to avoid any problem they destroy the evidence and put the blame on others. Sachin has all the evidence against them, but will he go against his family to serve justice to the families of the victims.
