Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam is a crime-comedy film. A theatre Group in Goa named Kalakar Theatre Company attempts to stage a political satire but they are evaded by the local authorities, who demand them to perform a traditional play, a stage version of Mughal-E-Azam. However, the company discovers that an underworld don has engineered the bomb and they plan to save the entire city. The actors are assisted by the RAW agent Arjun Rastogi (Rahul Bose) to foil the bombing.
