Manihar is a rural romantic drama set in a small village in Uttar Pradesh which rovolves around a bangle seller named Ballu (Badrul Islam). Ballu receives a proposal to marry Savitri (Roshni Rastogi) and both the families take an instant liking to each other and quickly begin discussing wedding plans. However, Ballu's life takes a turn when he develops night blindness which he tries to hide because he doesn't want to break his marriage. But somehow on the wedding day, Savitri’s wrestler brother, Balwant (Sunny Thakur), discovers Ballu's condition and decides to call off the wedding. A furious Ballu vows to take revenge by learning wrestling and defeating Balwant at his own game.
