Manjhdhar is a social drama that takes us back to the partition days when some people from Bangladesh migrated to India for a better living but continued to stay oppressed and exploited to date in rural India. The story is that of Sanno, a fearless and educated woman who works for the upliftment of women but faces the brutal tyranny of the village head. Sanno tries to fight against human trafficking, which gets her into trouble. How Sanno overcomes her struggle against the unlawful practices in the village and goes about protecting women rights and empowerment forms the remaining story of this intense drama.
