Mansukh Chaturvedi Ki Atmakatha is a comedy-drama set in the small town of Etawah in UP where Mansukh Chaturvedi lives and dreams of becoming a superstar in Bollywood but can't as his father is against it who struggles to bring him back to the world of reality in vain. Mansukh's father also tries means of coaxing his going to be daughter-in-law to make Mansukh see some sense but all falls flat as the latter is hell bent upon making it to tinsel town. What happens next, will Mansukh make it big as an actor or fall to his family pressure?
