Mardaani is an action thriller drama that revolves around Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani Mukerji) of the Mumbai Police. She works hard to capture Karan ‘Walt’ Rastogi (Tahir Raj Bhasin), a criminal warlord who is involved in child trafficking and drug supply. When her beloved Pyaari (Priyanka Sharma), an orphan rescued by Inspector Shivani, goes missing, she begins the investigation and realizes that Pyaari is abducted by the gang members of Walt. She then makes it her mission to serve hell to the criminals.
