Mashooq is a romantic drama. A young girl named Suman (Beena Banerjee) wishes to marry Shankar (Kiran Kumar), whom her brothers - Kedarnath (Pran) and Sandeep rejected. Sandeep tries to stop the wedding but gets killed, which starts the enmity between two families. Suman moves in with her husband and his younger brother Karan (Ayub Khan). Years later, Nisha (Ayesha Jhulka), Kedarnath’s daughter, falls in love with Karan. The question remains will the two lovers ever be able to unite with the ongoing family feud between their families?
