Matto Ki Saikil is a social family drama set in a far remote rural village where Matto (Prakash Jha) lives with his wife and two young daughters. Matto works as a labourer and is the bread-earner for his family and cycles long distances daily for work to the city. Despite having limited source of income, he is responsible for the livelihood of his family and treats his two-decade-old cycle as his most important asset by which he commutes daily. One day, an accident occurs due to which his cycle is badly damaged and can no longer be used. Though it could be a minor problem to someone, but it leaves an irreparable wound to Matto and his circumstances as he doesn’t have enough money to mend it. What does Matto do, will he mend his cycle and return to normal life or think of something else?
