Mera Karam Mera Dharam is an action drama. The movie revolves around a young man named Ajay Sankar Sharma (Dharmendra), who lives a poor lifestyle with his mother. One day, his rich maternal uncle, Deviprasad, pays them a visit, who has a large estate and wealth, which he is willing to give to Ajay on a condition that he will improve the standard of living in his village Sundergarh. Ajay agrees to that, and starts to work with Deviprasad’s son Sarju Prasad (Shreeram Lagoo). After the death of his uncle and mother, Ajay moves to the city to take care of the business, while he sends Sarju a huge sum of money every month for the development of Sundergarh. However, he realizes that Sarju is using the money for himself rather than the development of the village. When he pays the visit to Sundergarh and confronts Sarju about the same, Sarju decides to brainwash the villagers against Ajay. Will Ajay be able to make the people see the truth and succeed in fulfilling his dead uncle’s wish?
