Mere Dad Ki Maruti is a romantic comedy drama. The movie revolves around a college going carefree boy, Sameer (Saqib Saleem). Sameer’s father Tej Khullar (Ram Kapoor) buys a brand new Maruti Ertiga car as a wedding gift for his daughter and would-be-son-in-law. However, a few days before the marriage, Sameer decides to secretly take the car to impress his girlfriend, Jasleen (Rhea Chakraborty). Chaos ensues when Sameer accidentally loses the car. He must find the car before the wedding day or he might end up in big trouble.
