Abhimanyu (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Bindu (Parineeti Chopra) are childhood friends and neighbours who stay in Kolkata. Abhimanyu is a writer while Bindu is an aspiring singer, the former faces a writer's block when he decides to rewrite the childhood memories he shared with Bindu. During the course of his writing, Bindu realizes that she doesn't love him after a brief relationship. What happens to Abhimanyu and Bindu's story later is what Meri Pyaari Bindu is all about.
