Mission Majnu is a romantic action thriller drama set during the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971 that narrates the untold story of an undercover Indian RAW agent named Amandeep Ajitpal Singh / Tariq Ali (Sidharth Malhotra). Amandeep is made to travel to Pakistan to undertake one of the deadliest missions to expose a covert nuclear weapons program in the heart of Pakistan. How Amandeep disguises himself as a tailor and goes about executing his plan to get hold of all the secret information that Pakistan has plotted to destroy India. During his mission, he falls in love and marries Nasreen (Rashmika Mandanna), a local blind girl but is focused on completing his mission called ‘Mission Majnu’, at any given cost.
