Naaraaz is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Ajay Pandit (Atul Agnihotri) and Deva (Mithun Chakraborty). Ajay is a wealthy author, who befriends poor peasant Deva, who is always ready to help and fight for his fellow peasants. Later, Ajay falls in love with Sonali (Sonali Bendre), while Deva continues to live a poor life. Much later, Deva is on the run from the police, as he is found to be possessing arms illegally, and Ajay is falsely accused forhiding Deva. The two friends finally meet, but this time not as friends but enemies. It is still to find what happens when friends turn foe.
