Omkara is a crime drama and an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Othello. The movie revolves around Omkara ‘Omi’ Shukla, a local gangster who commits crimes for the politicians. Omkara is in love with Dolly (Kareena Kapoor), and the two plan to marry. His two most trusted lieutenants are Kesu Firangi (Vivek Oberoi) and Langda (Saif Ali Khan). When Omkara becomes the candidate for the upcoming state elections, he appoints Kesu as his successor. This disappoints Langda and he vows to take revenge. He tricks Omkara into assuming that Kesu and Dolly have an affair. Langda creates a number of misunderstandings that may cost many lives and ruin the lives of others. Will Omkara be able to see through it or become the victim of Langda’s evil plans?
