Page 3: The Inside Story is a drama film inspired by the Page 3 culture and the media in the city of Mumbai. The movie revolves around a young journalist named Madhavi Sharma (Konkona Sen Sharma), who arrives in Mumbai looking for a job. She lands a job in a newspaper company and is assigned to report celebrity news. While covering the celebrity news and attending social parties, Madhavi realizes that all politicians, film stars, businessmen and socialites lead a dual life, and there is no place for trust and honour in the Bollywood world.
