Policegiri is an action drama and the remake of the Tamil hit film Saamy. The movie revolves around DCP Rudra Aditya Devraj a.k.a. Baba (Sanjay Dutt), an honest police officer who has his own ways of dealing and getting criminals to book. Rudra has recently moved to the city of Karimnagar, which has an old history of crime and corruption that is controlled by a local mafia named Nagori Subramaniam (Prakash Raj). Rudra initially closes down a lot of Nagori’s business which initiates war between the two. Rudra vows to stand against Nagori and destroy him once and for all.
