Rajjo is a romantic drama that follows the story of a Nautch girl named Rajjo (Kangana Ranaut) and a young Brahmin boy named Chandu (Paras Arora). Chandu helps his team win a cricket match and to celebrate the victory, the boys visit the Kothas of Nagpada, Mumbai. In one such Kothas, Chandu meets Rajjo, who mesmerizes him with her elegant Mujra dance. They share a common love for music that brings them closer. The two-start falling in love with each other against the backdrop of dying Kothas in Mumbai. But it is not easy for Rajjo as she faces the hurdle of Begum (Mahesh Manjrekar) who runs the Kotha and Hande Bhau (Prakash Raj) who has strong political connections.
