Ram Tera Desh is a family drama that follows the story of a young woman named Sunita (Hema Malini), who lives a lower middle-class life with her family. She gets married to a rich man named Prem Kumar (Vijayendra Ghatge); however, once married she is ill-treated by her in-laws when her father is unable to pay the huge sum of money as dowry. Sunita learns that her in-laws poisoned Prem’s first wife for money, and will do the same to her. Will Sunita be able to save herself from her evil in-laws and teach them a lesson, or face the same consequences as her spouse’s ex-wife?
