Raqeeb: Rivals in Love is a romantic crime thriller drama. The movie revolves around a wealthy simpleton, Remo (Rahul Sharma). Remo meets his half-brother, Siddharth’s (Sharman Joshi) friend, Sophie (Tanushree Dutta), and falls in love with her. The two get married and lead a happy life until Sophie’s ex-lover, Sunny (Jimmy Shergill) returns. Sunny still loves Sophie, the two plan to kill Remo by natural means so they could be together after his death. Sophie tricks Sunny to kill Remo with real bullets and get him in trouble. The climax takes an unexpected turn and reveals the secrets of each character.
