Satyaprem Ki Katha is a musical romantic comedy-drama about Satyaprem aka Sattu (Kartik Aaryan) who is in his mid-thirties and is a goofy, good-hearted, good-for-nothing boy belonging to a Gujarati family. Satyaprem meets Katha (Kiara Advani) and falls in love with her and is eager to marry her but is also aware that she is way out of his league. Satyaprem’s dream comes true when Katha’s rich parents unexpectedly come to meet his parents and ask for Satya's hand in marriage! From here on starts Satya's tryst to get Katha to fall in love with him and ends up discovering himself and proving to be a worthy husband.
