Shabaash Mithu: The Unheard Story of Women in Blue is a biopic and tale of one of the greatest all-time women cricketers of India, Mithali Raj. The film is based on the life of former Test and ODI captain of the India women's national cricket team who became an inspiration to billions of girls and women across the world. The story also traces the journey of the legendary Indian cricketer as an 8-year-old kid who dreamt of becoming a cricketing icon who had a record-breaking 23-year-long career in international cricket, made over 10000 runs in ODIs. The film is a tribute to the recently retired icon that showcases the highs and lows, setbacks and moments of euphoria of Mithali Raj's life.
