Shadow Assassins is a social revenge drama based on true events that is set against the backdrop of militancy in Assam by ULFA (United Liberation Front of Asom) in 1998. The story revolves around a young man named Nirbhay Kalita (Anurag Sinha) who leaves his home in Guwahati, Assam, with dreams of starting a new chapter in life on a college campus in Pune, Maharashtra. But, unfortunate circumstances in his town and the collapse of the system leads to the death of his near and dear ones which get him sucked into vengeance.
