Shastry Viruddh Shastry is a courtroom family drama and the Hindi remake of the hit Bengali film Posto that centres around a seven-year-old boy Momoji who is brought up by his paternal grandparents. One fine day Momoji’s parents come to take him along with them to the USA. The grandparents request their son and daughter-in-law to leave Momoji with them to which they refuse. After continuous arguments, both decide to take the matter to court and decide who has the right to be the child’s legal guardian as Momoji finds himself trapped in an intricate web of emotions, torn between his parents and his loving grandparents.
