Sherni is an adventure thriller drama set in a wildlife forest where a jaded forest officer (Vidya Balan) is given the responsibility to lead a team of trackers and locals intending to capture an unsettled tigress. The female forest officer battles intense obstacles and pressures to overcome sexist stereotypes in her professional as well as personal life. How she gears up by setting up a plan to trace the unsettled tigress which has caused an uproar in the local area, forms the remaining part of the story.
