Sky Force is an action packed thriller drama based on the historic Sargodha airbase attack by the Indian Air Force that subsequently led to a ceasefire in the 1965 Indo-Pakistan air war. The story is set when India and Pakistan are on the verge of a war when Group Captain Kumar Om Ahuja (Akshay Kumar) is stationed at the Adampur Air Base in Jalandhar who is married to Preeti (Nimrat Kaur) while he has a close bonding with one of his juniors, Squadron Leader T. Krishnan Vijaya aka Tabby (Veer Pahariya) who is married to Geeta (Sara Ali Khan) and expecting their first child. One day, station commander, Air Commodore David Lawrence (Manish Chaudhari) asks Ahuja to recce and find out about the preparation by the Pakistani forces. Ahuja along with Tabby to join him and are attacked by Pakistan air force. Ahuja and Tabby hit back and convey to Indian forces to be ready. However, their request is not taken seriously and subsequently their air base gets attacked leading to the loss of lives and planes. Immediately, Ahuja and his Tiger Squadron attack an air base situated deep in the Pakistani territory during which Tabby goes missing in action. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
