Street Singer is a musical drama starring K. L. Saigal as Bhulwa and Kanan Davi as Manju. Bhulwa saves Manju and helps her escape the burning orphanage. The two go from village to village, singing on the streets and making money. Several years later, Manju is employed in a theatre to sing. The success brings a change in her attitude which disappoints Bhulwa, he leaves her and gets a job to sing on the radio. Manju feels insulted by this and decides to sing Bhulwa’s song in a new style, which definitely doesn’t please Bhulwa. Now, it is to see whether Manju will realize her mistake or not?
