Tara vs Bilal is a romantic comedy-drama set in the vibrant city of London where Bilal (Harshvardhan Rane), an introverted and carefree young man meets Tara (Sonia Rathee), a full-of-life happy yet sensitive girl with an offer. In order to stay single and avoid her mother and relatives’ marriage proposals Bilal hires Tara as his fiancée to introduce her to his mother. Though Tara and Bilal are opposite personalities while the former accepts the offer as she needs the money to fulfill her dreams. As Tara and Bilal enter a fake marriage to keep his mother at bay the circumstances draw them closer to each other only to fall in love later. However, there is a catch to the whole. Will Tara and Bilal get married or go their separate ways?
