Tarla is a biopic drama that revolves around the inspiring journey of one of India’s renowned women chefs Tarla Dalal (played by Huma Qureshi), who redefined Indian-styled cooking and the won hearts of millions. It narrates the journey of her success where as a young girl she wanted to do something in her life but was unable to realize her passion and often ended up asking questions about food. After some time, she realizes her love for cooking and goes from being a non-professional cook to a professional one and ends up opening her cooking classes through TV shows.
