The Conversion is a social romantic drama dedicated to India's Daughters which is based on the burning issue of ‘Love Jihad’ where up in north India Muslim boys trap young Hindu girls and marry them only to convert them to Islam. The film’s story is based in Banaras where a young college going Hindu girl falls in love with a young boy named Babloo and plans to marry him but just before the wedding gets to know that he is a Muslim. What does she do, does she convert to Islam or dump the boy? The film sensitively explores the dilemma of religious conversions that take place in many cities during love marriages in India.
