The Fakir of Venice is a comedy-drama which revolves around an Indian con man, Adi Contractor (Farhan Akhtar) who is hired to find an Indian fakir who can bury himself in the sand for hours for an installation art project to be held in Venice. Adi finally finds Sattar (Annu Kapoor) who is ready to do so for a deal. The both reach Venice where Adi realizes that all is not hunky dory as a surprise awaits him.
