The Purvanchal Files is an action thriller drama based in the eastern region of Uttar Pradesh called Purvanchal where a brave and honest police officer DSP Ritesh Pandey (Siddharth Gupta) takes charge of Ghazipur city where crime and corruption are the prime issues. DSP Ritesh Pandey's mission is to free it from the clutches of crime, corruption, and gang warfare which is helmed by the tyranny and brutality of MLA Abhisar Rana and his son. Ritesh Pandey comes face-to-face with Abhisar Rana, as they collide in a battle of ideals and principles. How Ritesh gets the better of Abhisar Rana and his tyranny and fulfills his promise to restore peace in the area forms the remaining part of the plot.
