Tilak is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a woman named Mangla (Shilpa Shirodkar), whose mother was molested and murdered by a cop. Since then she took the life of a dacoit, and became a notorious dacoit to find the cop and avenge her mother’s death. The situation makes her take the identity of Chanda, the daughter of an old village lady. She then falls in love with an honest cop and decides to mend her ways to be him. However, will the ghosts of her past ever let her live a life of a normal girl?
