Tumbbad is a story set in a small village called Tumbbad in the state of Maharashtra where an old abandoned structure lies in a dilapidated state having a mysterious past with a hidden treasure to it. Staying in the village is a poor man and his son who try to unlock the mystery by entering the abandoned structure and laying their hands on the gold coins which is a herculean task to task. The poor man trains his son in how to fetch the gold coins from the treasure but only till greed doesn’t get the better of them.
