U Me Aur Hum is a musical romantic drama. The story revolves around Ajay (Ajay Devgn), who falls in love with a waitress named Piya (Kajol) on the cruise. He woos her, and after some time, they marry. Everything goes fine for this perfect couple until Piya is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease while she is pregnant. Ajay must always keep an eye on Piya, or she might hurt their baby. For the safety of the baby, Ajay sends Piya to the Asylum but decides to get her back. Twenty-five years later, Ajay relives the best moments of his life by telling his story to an elderly woman, who turns out to be Piya. He concludes the story by saying that the best thing he ever did was bringing Piya back home and it was one of the special days when she can remember everything.
