Vanshree is an action crime social drama which narrates the story of a young warrior girl named Vanshree (Ammey) who chooses to become a forest officer and is transferred to an area where sandalwood smuggling is prominent where a nexus of people is involved in smuggling of forest wood to earn huge money. Vanshree takes up the responsibility to stop the illegal cutting of trees and save forests and inculcate social awareness among people. How does she go about doing her task yielding a favourable outcome forms the crux of the remaining story.
