Waqt Ki Awaz is an action crime drama. The movie follows the story of a young wealthy woman named Lata (Sridevi), who lives with her father. Her father asks her to get married to Rajan (Gulshan Grover), who is equally rich as them. She then runs away from home, and starts to live with Vishwa Pratap (Mithun Chakraborty), a poor truck driver. She informs her father that she’ll only marry Vishwa Pratap. However, things take a completed turn when Vishwa is framed for a murder and sentenced to prison. Is Vishwa really guilty or has just become the target of some deceitful plan?
