Yaar Gaddar is an action revenge drama. The movie revolves around an honest police officer named Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty), who is very strict and authoritarian to the outer world, but is lenient with his younger brother Jai (Saif Ali Khan), a happy-go-lucky guy. Their perfectly happy life takes a turn when a group of five criminals rob a bank, but Jai is implicated in the robbery. He then goes on the run from the police. Shankar is assigned the task to catch Jai. Even though Shankar knows his brother is innocent, he’s bound with his duties. Will Shankar be able to help his brother prove his innocence?
