Yeh Ishq Nahin Aasan is a romantic musical drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Salim Ahmed (Rishi Kapoor), who is a poet and an architect, who moves to Lucknow for a job. There, he meets a woman named Salma (Padmini Kohlapure), and falls in love with her. However, the match is disapproved by Salma’s father as her marriage is arranged to another man. Later, Salim reluctantly gets married to Sahira and continues with his life. However, the question remains, is it the end of their love story, or there is more to their story?
